Adriaan van Dis is a great Dutch writer and I was honored when he asked me to make the illustrations for his first children’s book. And there it is: ‘Adje Doet Heel Druk’ – which means something like ‘Adje is being very excitable’. The title is a playful reference to ADHD. The story gives us a glimpse into the world of an adorable little boy, who isn’t short of imagination. I like it my little Adje!
